New Baby Cousin!

Congratulations Bridger & Megan on your new bundle of joy! I loved being able to visit with you for a few moments in the hospital. Madalyn is an absolute doll! I can hardly wait to see if she'll look like her big sister in a few months! Congrats!

Hanging With the McDonalds

I've been visiting family and friends in Nampa, ID for a few days and have a few more days to go! I really enjoyed catching up with everyone. I do have to apologize for not bringing much to the conversation as far as anything "extraordinarily exciting" in my life....but honestly, I could just sit in the living room breathing the same air (as long as it smelled fresh) and just looking around at everyone and be very content. I totally consider you all to be family! :) If you are stalking my blog to read about yourself, I think that's awesome! I really want to encourage you to start blogging away. I'm not going to lie...I only have faith in Mindy right now, but seriously it will be a great way to keep in touch!

Aloha Spirit in Kennewick?

Last night, Lisa and I went to a Makaha Sons concert in Kennewick. It was absolutely fabulous! This is one of Lisa's favorite traditional Hawaiian music groups. It was so much fun for me to watch one of the members play a 12-string guitar with so much energy and gusto! His hands were just flying! I wish I could play like that. Kealo Koko (a daughter of one of the members) hula danced so elegantly to a few songs. Anyway, I took a few pictures of Lisa, who was very happy and giddy, while she was getting autographs. It was a very entertaining evening and now I want to go back to Hawaii!

Weekend Guests!

I cant' figure out the slideshow element quite yet, and I want to try to stay on top of the "latest and greatest" in my life.....This weekend DeAnne, Justin, and Katelyn came down from Newport, WA for a nice stay. Some things were work related, but most things were simply related to catching up and relaxing. We caught up with an old friend and his wife (Jeff & Megan Sagan) here in Kennewick, dinked around on the guitar (I love to hear DeAnne sing!) and headed down to the Hermiston Aquatic Center for a dip in the pool. Bryn's family met us at the pool after they finished up with their garage sale. It's finally starting to feel like summer around here!
